Imagine walking into the final for your physics class, after spending the past week studying, only to be overjoyed when he only hands you a single piece of paper. At first you think to yourself "No way, only two problems!" Then you read the question:

1) Schroedinger's Cat is thrown through a single slit, it is

A) Alive

B) Dead

C) A wave

D) A particle

2) If Schroedinger's Cat gets a buttered piece of toast taped butterside up to its backside and is thrown, how will it land? Qualify your answer using Einstein's Theory of Relativity. (Hint: use a point on the ground as a (non-inertial, due to Earth's revolution) frame of reference)

Think you would pass?

1) C

2) It depends on whether the buttered toast was taped buttered-side up or down to the cat.

1. It's both A and B. The cat's always half dead and half alive.

2. I think the better question would be what would happen if he was upside down and he got gas? Would it come out the front or the back?

But it doesn't really matter, because apparently an M18 is going to blow him up.

the answer to the first is a bcause cats are immortal gods. As for the toast, my toast always lands butterside up. ;)

It is a trick question Schroedinger had a dog, so the second question is irrelevant.

The cat is a particle relative to the slit. It's a single object. Particles can be of any size.

***uming that the cat's inherent ability to always land on its feet is over looked, and that backside means butt: The toast would not land on either side. Because the geometry of the cat. There's no way a cat could be shaped in a way that would allow it to stay sitting up on its backside or on its head. Not only that, but it would be impossible for the toast to land butterside up, because if the cat would have to land on its head, the toast would not touch the ground and "land."

1) None of the above.
2)Mythbusters proved butterong toast has nothing to do with it's landing orientation so the cat will never land. :!:

Mythbuster must have not heard of Murphey's law
